SVDP Society Collection

In his message for World Day of the Poor Pope Francis says:

“We are called in every circumstance to be friends of the poor, following in the footsteps of Jesus who always began by showing solidarity when dealing with the least among us.”  Living as friends of the poor is what our parish conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul seeks to do on your behalf for our most vulnerable neighours. Every year, just before Christmas our SVDP conference asks for your support to fund our outreach to our neighbours-in-need at Christmas and for the coming year.  In advance of the special collection to be taken up on the weekend of November 23 & 24 you will find donation envelopes stapled to the bulletin on the weekend of November 16 & 17 and also at the doors of the church.

Pease fill in the information on the donation envelope to receive a tax receipt and make cheques payable to "SVDP Society-St. Clement".  Thank you all for your most generous support!
