It was wonderful to see so many of you at our Advent Virtual Day of Reflection with Dr. Brian Butcher. It was enlightening to learn about praying with sacred images, including images of Mary and Jesus.  

Advent is a wonderful time to reflect and pray about new beginnings, especially the beginning of our faith journey with the holy family. Mary, the mother of Jesus, journeys with us as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord.  

If you are interested in learning more about Mary’s role in salvation history, including the Church’s belief regarding Mary, please join us for our next lay spiritual formation workshop on Saturday, January 15, 2022. I will be facilitating this day, focusing on biblical accounts, Marian dogma, and new developments in the area of Mariology.
