Holy Communion Distribution During Lockdown

DURING THE CURRENT PANDEMIC QUARANTINE
HOLY COMMUNION WILL BE DISTRIBUTED
TO THOSE WHO WISH TO RECEIVE

 EVERY SATURDAY: 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
EVERY SUNDAY: 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Only 10 people (including the priest) are allowed in the church.
A volunteer will monitor numbers at the door
Please keep safe social distance as you wait to enter

We ask that you leave the church immediately after receiving Holy Communion
to make room for others waiting at the doors.

Masks must be worn

HOME PREPARATION PRAYERS BEFORE COMMUNION

O God, I believe that I shall receive the Body of Jesus to eat,
I believe this with all my heart.

 O my God, help me to make a good communion.
Mary, my mother, pray to Jesus for me
All you holy Angels and Saints, pray for me.
My dear Angel Guardian, lead me to the altar of God.

 O my God, I am sorry for all my sins
because they offend you who are so good.With your help I will not sin again. Amen.

REMEMBER TO FAST ONE FULL HOUR
BEFORE RECEIVING HOLY COMMUNION.

HOME PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING AFTER COMMUNION

O Jesus, I believe that you have come to me in Holy Communion
because you have said it and your word is true.

O Jesus, receive my poor offering.
Jesus, you have given yourself to me,
now let me give myself to you:
I give you my body that it may be chaste and pure,
I give you my soul that it may be free from sin,
I give you my heart that it may always love you,
I give you every breath that I shall breathe and especially my last,
I give you myself in life and death
that I may be yours for ever and ever. Amen
