On Monday December 17th,
the students of St. Clement Catholic Elementary School came for the Advent Mass
before the Christmas break.
The Mass was celebrated
by the pastor, Monsignor Paul Zimmer.
Sr. Christina planned
the liturgy, prepared the Mass power point presentation and the homily script
explaining the Jesse Tree and the symbols.
She rehearsed with the
Grade 5 students last Friday who were assigned the different tasks for the
school Mass - Greeters & Readers & Gift Bearers.
Students were assigned
to read a brief explanation of each Jesse Tree symbol and another student came
forward to hang on the Jesse Tree the appropriate symbol.
All the students did an
excellent job and the school community learnt more about the meaning of Advent
and preparing their hearts and souls to celebrate the birth of Christ.
Peace & Blessings,
Sister Christina Marie
